Ivybridge Town FC has been selected to join the FA Tesco Skills Programme. We will benefit from access to 3 UEFA Licensed Coaches. We have moved quickly to organise our first event, which is a 2 day FREE Football Camp at Erme Valley on the 7th and 8th August, 2013. The Camp will run on both days, from 10am-3pm with the the mornings dedicated to 5-7 year olds and the afternoons for the 8-11 year old players. St Lukes Bowl 2013/14. The draw for the St Lukes Bowl has been drawn and Ivybridge have been given a bye in Round 1 and drawn away to Witheridge in Round 2, which must be played by 31st October 2013. Click here to see the draw in full.

Club Signing on Day. Thank you to all of you that attended the Club Signing on Day on Saturdau, which was a great success. Special thanks to Karen Kittle and Tracy Squires for their held with all of the paperwork on the day, really appreciated.

Youth Registration Fees. The Annual Youth Registration Fee will again be frozen this year, and will remain at £15 per player. This is to be paid at the Club Signing on Day please.

Ivybridge Town Boot Bank Launched. We are starting a Boot Amnesty to raise vital Club Funds. If you have any boots lurking in cupboards which are in good condition but too small, we’d love you to donate them to the Club for onward Sale. We’ll take any brand, any size, any colour. All donations can be either be given to the Team Managers or dropped directly to the Club. We’ll be running a stall at the forthcoming Ivybridge Tournament to sell Boots so look out for some absolute bargains.

Youth Presentation Night. Thank you for the excellent support and attendance at the Annual Youth Presentation Night. From my perspective, it went well and we’ve had some really good feedback. I’m always grateful for any feedback on the event, so please do get in touch if you have any…good, bad or indifferent. Venue? Trophies? Format? Coaches? Food? Slide show? etc….

Car Boot Sales. We have kindly been given the opportunity to raise vital Club funds by helping to run the Car Boot Sales at the Country Man's Choice Farm Shop, next to Endsleigh Garden Centre. Car Boot Sales will run every Sunday, the first Saturday of every Month and on Bank Holidays between now and the end of October.

2013/14 Season. Next season, we will be running a full complement of teams from Under 7’s right the way through to our Senior Teams. The Under 7’s will play a series of friendlies throughout the season. The Under 8’s will be members of the Pioneer Youth League and will play on Sunday mornings. The Under 9’s through to Under 18’s will be members of the Devon Junior and Minor League and will play on Saturday mornings (U9-U16) and Sunday afternoon’s (U17-U18). The Reserves will play in South Devon League Premier Division and the First Team will play in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division.

Season Start Dates. The South West Peninsula League will start on 10th August. The South Devon League will start on 17th Aug. The DJM League season will start on Saturday 7th Sept for U11-U16, Sunday 8th Sept for U17-U18 and Saturday 14th Sept for mini soccer. The dates of the Pioneer League will be confirmed at the upcoming AGM.

We've been chosen to host the South West Peninsula League Charity Vase and Charity Bowl games on Sunday 4th August at Erme Valley;

Vase: 12 noon. Exmouth Town v Godolphin Atlantic
Bowl: 3.30pm. Bodmin Town v Plymouth Parkway

Throgmorton Cup Draw
The 2013/14 Throgmorton Cup draw was made this evening at the South West Peninsula League AGM. We've been drawn away to Perranporth in round one (28th Sept) and if successful will play the winner's of Bude v Uni of Exeter, away in round two at the end of October.

First Team Fixtures - The South West Peninsula League has again been one of the first, if not the first, Senior League in the Country to publish their 2013/14 fixtures. The Ivybridge fixtures for August and September are detailed below;

Kirkup departs for Truro City - Graham Kirkup resigned from his position as the Ivybridge Town First team Manager last week having accepted a position as Assistant Manager at Truro City, who play in the Blue Square Bet South Conference League. We thank Graham for what he did for the Club in his short tenure with us and wish him every success at Truro City.

New First Team Management - We’re delighted to confirm that Nicky Marker will remain at Ivybridge Town and has been appointed as the First Team Manager. Equally, we are delighted to announce Mark Berry as the Player/Assistant Manager and Ryan McClements as the Player/Coach. We hope to further strengthen this team with one additional appointment, further news on this is to follow.

Mini Ivies will continue to run - Our Saturday morning Mini Ivies sessions will continue to run, for the foreseeable future, through the majority of the summer. We’ve just branched out an Under 8’s team from the Mini Ivies players and will be doing the same for the Under 7’s shortly, and are keen to maintain interest and get the teams ready for Summer Tournaments and the upcoming season.

U18’s : Thank you and goodbye - Our current Under 18’s have now finished their time with the Club. I’d like to thank Steve Roomes and Steve Legge for their efforts and contribution during their time. We look forward to seeing a number of the existing squad of players migrate into our Senior Teams.

Our Annual Club Signing will take place on Saturday 15th June.
All Parents and players will need to sign and complete the appropriate paperwork for the 2013/14 season. We’ll have a BBQ running, bouncy castle and music.
